Equipment

A&D Transport (NW) LTD provides a high quality, reliable and cost-effective distribution service for the waste and recycling industry, with over 25 years of experience in transport and storage. The fleet consists of over 60 vehicles that are modern, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. We also have nearly 100 specialised and product specific trailers in the fleet including walking floors, tippers and taut liners. This means that we are capable of carrying a variety of different waste materials, including; food, paper, glass, tyres, commingle, timber, chip, aggregate, profuels, metal and paper reels and palletised finished goods.

The vehicles and trailers in our fleet enable us to cater for a variety of different assignments to meet the customers’ requirements. Our fleet is further complimented by sub-contract haulage companies that work for us. The size of our fleet means that we can cope during periods when we may experience very high demand.

IT Systems

We have a very up-to-date Traffic Management System that is managed by our highly trained staff at our headquarters in Widnes, Cheshire. This enables us to provide logistical solutions for our customers, both nationally and internationally. This therefore allows us to build a strong working partnership with our customers.

All our vehicles are fitted with on board state of the art manufacturers telemetry which gives our planning department real time information. We can offer our customers full access to our system which has proven invaluable in the past with time sensitive deliveries to national press rooms.

All goods transported by A&D Transport (NW) LTD are in accordance with the Road Haulage Association’s (RHA) conditions of carriage.

Network

The business operates out of a variety of different satellite depots across the UK. Our current depots are located in Oswestry, Spalding and Kings Lynn. We are currently looking to expand by opening up a depot in the Glasgow area.
